Our Office
Dr.
Ferrara, Jr. is a board certified dermatologist by the
American Academy of Dermatology who trained at the Cleveland
Clinic Foundation. He earned his medical degree from Wayne
State University. The practice was originally founded
by his father in the 1950's and he therefore is a second
generation dermatologist having been enriched by his father's
experience and yet having cutting-edge technology and
training.
Dr.
Ferrara, Jr. has a broad and extensive background not
only in general medical dermatology, but surgical and cosmetic
dermatology.
Our
objective is to provide the latest in proven medical and
cosmetic services and technologies to achieve your desired
goals. Since it is important to have well informed clients,
personal consultation is an important educational tool
to understand your choices and expectations.
Under
one roof we have a full service medical dermatology center,
Ferrara Dermatology Center, P.C., and a state-of-the-art
cosmetic dermatology center. The Skin and Laser Center
of Grosse Pointe, P.L.L.C. is a separate wing dedicated
to professional skin enhancing procedures, services, and
exceptional skin care products only available through
skin care professionals. Having a dermatologist overviewing
and supervising all of our ancillary skin services and
personally interacting with the staff of aestheticians,
nurses, and physicians is what will always be an important
distinction.
